Abstract

Quadrupole mass spectrometers have been produced in our institute for 15 years. Such an instrument is able to measure the composition of gases in different (industrial, chemical, medical, etc.) processes. This instrument does not contain moving parts, it can be tuned by changing the parameters of its electronics. Our tasks was to add a microprocessor control to the spectrometer. The main phases of the work were: • - specification, - testing, • - design, - integration, • - coding, - tuning.
