Translated title of the contribution: Density and sedimentation of airborne pollutants in the catchment of Lake Balaton

Research output: Contribution to journalArticle

Abstract

Sedimentated airborne pollutants increasingly are becoming a problem in bodies of water. This paper describes the harmful effects of acidic sedimented pollution--by aid of on site measurements--in the catchment of Lake Balaton. A seperate analysis is also described which studies the phenomena of 'wet deposition' and 'dry deposition' on the lake. 'Wet deposition' is wash-out caused by clouds and precipitation, and is defined as the product of the average concentration and the amount of precipitation. ″dry deposition' is the deposition of trace materials due to turbulent and gravitational processes in dry seasons.
