Deformation, Clusterization and Fission

Abstract

The relation of the quadrupole deformation and clusterization is discussed from the microscopic viewpoint. A connection can be established via the shell model not only for harmonic oscillator, but also for more realistic interactions. The effects of the microscopic structure on the (exotic) cluster radioactivity and on the binary fission are investigated.
