Abstract

A number of trans-2-aminomethylcycloalkanol derivatives (3a-c, 4a-c, and 5a-q) were synthesized by means of reductive N-alkylation and O- or N-acylation. Some of the compounds display good local anaesthetic or diuretic activity.
