Critical behavior of the two-dimensional 2A → 3A, 44 → Ø binary system

Abstract

The (D-σ) phase diagram of two-dimensional 2A→3A, 4A→φ model with site restriction and explicit particle diffusion was investigated. Extensive simulations gave numerical evidence that a reentrant phase diagram emerges as in one dimension and predicted by cluster mean-field approximations. Only a mean-field transition at σ=0 branching rate was found for high diffusion rates, while for low diffusion another transition type at σ>0 appears. The simulations showed that at σ>0 transition, the finite size effects and corrections to scaling were very strong.
