Abstract

Figure 2B in the original article is incorrect since it displays two different peptides (sC18 upper row and (sC18)2 lower row, respectively) in the same cell-line (MCF-7). The correct Figure 2B is shown here: The paragraph describing Figure 2B should read as follows: This is in agreement to the microscopy images (Figure 2B) demonstrating more or less the same phenotype in MCF-7 cells, whereas in HEK-293 cells, at 4 °C, a decreased internalization can be observed. Maybe in this case, some of the (sC18)2 peptides are able to directly enter the cells, whereas at 37 °C, mainly endocytosis takes place.
