Abstract

The correlations between the hyperfine-field, isomer-shift, and quadrupole-splitting distributions determined in ferromagnetic crystalline and amorphous intermetallic compounds from the linewidth differences of Fe57 Mössbauer spectra will be discussed. It will be shown that no structural information can be deduced from these quantities.
