Contribution to the histochemistry of lattice dystrophy of the cornea

Abstract

Histochemical examination of a cornea with lattice dystrophy suggests that the clumped and streaklike deposits in the substantia propria are attributable to polysaccharide-protein complexes formed from collagen fibers and interlamellarly situated acid mucopolysaccharides.
