Abstract

A sensitive quadrupole mass spectrometer was used for different purity measurements. The analysis of gases in operating rooms showed a 1 ppm-10**5 ppm concentration of narcotics and helped to develop an effective and cheap method for regenerating narcotic filters. The gases used in radioactive pollution measurements are controlled by internal GM counters and in radiocarbon dating technique. Combustion products and the gases of a fermenter are investigated for industrial application.
