Malignant mixed mesodermal tumor of the ovary is a rare clinical entity. The chances of survival in case of this tumor are very poor, the median rate being less than 2 years. We report a case of an ovarian malignant mixed mesodermal tumor (MMMT) and a serous adenocarcinoma in the controlateral ovary. By means of immunhistochemical profiles, we could demonstrate that the two tumors are of different primary neoplasm entities. We could not find any data in the literature regarding concomitant occurence of an ovarian MMMT and another ovarian neoplasm.
