A case of Kasabach Merritt syndrome in an adult is described. The hemangiomatosis was of visceral localization. The fatal disease was a consumption coagulopathy, imitating a leukemoid reaction. The misleading clinical picture is discussed, and the histology of the multicentric hemangiomatosis is presented.
