Lymphocyte cultures of syphilitic and control patients were stimulated by corpuscular cardiolipin. It could be demonstrated, that lymphoblasts, which were found in cultures of syphilitic patients, contain complement-binding antibodies reactive to cardiolipin and Reiter-antigen. Lymphoblasts containing such antibodies could not be found neither in unstimulated cultures of syphilitic patients, nor in lymphocyte cultures of healthy controls.
