Abstract

The measurement and comparison of within-variety phenotypic variability was carried out in wheat populations of doubled haploid and conventional breeding origin for a number of yield component characters. The value of within-population phenotypic variability of DHs did not differ substantially from that of varieties of traditional breeding origin.
