Abstract

Dental plaque values determined immediately after consuming Sorbitol-containing chocolates were significantly lower than those after consuming Saccharose containing chocolate. These data support indirectly the results of clinical experiments concerning the reduced cariogenicity of Sorbitol-containing sweets.
