Abstract

We comment on the recent paper published by the Obelix Collaboration on protonium annihilation into π 0π 0 at rest in a liquid hydrogen target [Phys. Rev. D 65, 012001 (2002)], with particular reference to the discrepancy with the results obtained by the Crystal Barrel Collaboration.
