Clustering of Fermi particles with arbitrary spin

Abstract

The clustering effects of Fermi superfluid particles were investigated to demonstrate superfluid ground state different from that given by BCS pairing theory. The single l-shell model was used for system of fermions of arbitrary spin s. The investigation was performed at zero temperature which was restricted to subspace of given l shell filled with particles of number N. The spin independent contact potential representing s-wave scattering with negative scattering length described interaction between particles in open shell.
