Charge carrier mobility in quasi-one-dimensional systems: Application to a guanine stack

Abstract

A study was performed on the charge carrier mobility in quasi-one-dimensional systems. The HF band structure, effective masses, deformation potentials, and the 1-D electron and hole mobilities of a guanine stack were calculated. The results showed that the mobility values obtained were quite reasonable.
