Abstract

The hyperfine field and isomer shift around Al and Si impurities have been measured by Mössbauer and continuous wave nuclear magnetic resonance methods. The isomer shift distribution is interpreted as the results of Friedel-type charge perturbation around the impurity potential. The contribution of the charge screening mechanism to the hyperfine field distribution is discussed.
