Abstract

A study was performed on the characterization of porous indium tin oxide (ITO) thin films using effective medium theory. Important data on the filling factor, charge carrier density and resistivity was obtained after the heat treatment of the film. The results showed that the theory was appropriate in describing the optical properties of porous ITO films.
