Abstract

The significance and reliability of the data determined by different in‐situ methods (electrochemical quartz crystal microbalance, radiotracer and impedance spectroscopy) on the film formation and redox transformations of polymers are discussed. Results on both redox and conducting polymer films are selected in order to illustrate the practical and theoretical problems of the field.
