Abstract

The carcinosarcoma is one of the rare epithelial and mesenchymal originated malignant tumor of the urinary bladder. Histopathological features, pathogenesis, diagnosis, differential diagnosis, clinical features, and therapy are discussed. They present the case of middle aged male patient, who was operated for haematuria caused by tumor with transurethral resection. The histological examination showed true carcinosarcoma of the urinary bladder. Radical cystectomy with ileal conduit was performed. Three years after the operation the patient is tumor free his general condition is good.
