Caging of particles in one-component plasmas

Abstract

The nebulous notion of localization in a strongly coupled OCP was quantified by analyzing through molecular dynamic (MD) solution the dependence of the particle dynamics of the coupling parameter Γ. Simulation results support the physical basis of the QLCA. In particular, it was shown that caging time is a fast growing function of Γ.
