C-violation in η-decay?

Abstract

The recent experimental results on the charge asymmetry in η-decay have been compared with a theoretical model of C-violation. Five asymmetry parameters of the η →π+πoπ- energy distribution have been defined and their measured values have been reproduced by the model within one standard deviation. The implication of the experimental upper limit on the η → πoe+e- decay has also been taken into account. Order of magnitude estimates indicate that the model is not in contradiction with experimental results on the KL decay.
