Bilinear product prelsach modeling of magnetic hysteresis curves

Abstract

The classical Preisach model was modified. using population dynamics, resulting In the bilinear product model. A pratical numerical procedure was devised for the calcution of the model parameters from measured magnetization data. In this paper, experimental magnetization curves are analyzed by this method. to obtain the material parameters and the modified Preisach density function for a sample of a recording tape an iron wire, and a cold rolled iron foil. From this data hysteresis curves and minor magnetizaton loops were caleu- 1ated and compared with those measured.
