Abstract

Objectives: A case of rarely localised, repeatedly occuring basal-cell carcinoma that metastasised into the lymphoid node and skin is repented in the paper. Material and methods: Case history and literature review. Results: After radical extripation of the basal cell-carcinoma and block-dissection the patient became free from the tumor. Postoperative irradiation is recommended to prevent recurrence and progression. Conclusions: Basal-cell carcinoma is known as semimalignant type of tumor, which might, though only sometimes metastatise.
