Abstract

Future Internet, 3D Internet and Internet of Things are newly emerging trends promising the possibility that virtual spaces will be available in the near future to create mixed virtual/real collaboration spaces and cyber-physical systems which can be shared among users at different points on the Earth. Based on these directions, the talk touches some related topics of future collaboration via case studies performed using the VirCA (Virtual Collaboration Arena) framework.
