Abstract

Pt on KL-zeolite promotes aromatization, isomerization, hydrogenolysis on n-hexane with a selectivity pattern similar to Pt/SiO2 (EUROPT-1). Olefins may play a role as intermediates. The formation of cyclohexane in the aromatization process at higher hydrogen pressure has been confirmed by a 14C radiotracer study.
