Application of the Test Particle Method for the Determination of Single Ion Activity Coefficients in A Real Electrolyte Solution

Abstract

Single ion activity coefficients were determined for aqueous NaCl solutions up to 1 mol/kg concentration. Solvent averaged ion – ion pair potentials were applied in Monte Carlo simulations. The activity coefficients were calculated by two different test particle methods.
