Application of a continuous and selective water detector in thermoanalytical investigations

Abstract

A method for simultaneous TG, DTG and DTA combined with a continuous and direct water determination has been developed. The applicability of the technique is shown by reference to several examples such as limestone-containing metamorphic rock, clay, soil, cellulose and an anion-exchange resin.
