Abstract

The temperature dependence of the hyperfine field at Fe atoms near 4d- and 5d-impurities was determined by the Mössbauer method at temperatures from that of liquid nitrogen to the Curie point for iron-based alloys containing Mo, Ru, Rh, Pd, W, Re, Os, Ir and Pt impurities. A deviation in the value of the relative hyperfine fields measured at Fe atoms near and far from the impurity was observed with Ru, Pd, Os and Pt impurities only, indicating an anomalous behaviour of the impurity moment in these cases, reflected in the conduction electron polarization contribution to the neighbour hyperfine field.
