Anisotropy effect detected by tem in YBaCuO at low temperature

Abstract

Four kind of typical deffects were detected in the YBaCuO superconducting samples by high resolution electron microscopy and one of them shows correlation with the oxygen content. On the other hand the low temperature selected area electron diffraction patterns have exhibited diffuse steaks through the matrix spots, what means that the anisotropy of the crystallites is growing up at liquid nitrogen temperature.
