An extended CO outflow emerging from 2MASS 22140872+7015052

Abstract

We report the discovery of a low-mass extended CO outflow in the dark cloud L1219. The derived dynamical time-scale is (0.5-1)×104 years. We suggest that the driving source of the outflow is the IRAS 22129+7000, i.e., 2MASS 22140872+7015052, source. Using available IR data we calculate the spectral index of the source in the 2-12 μm interval to be α = 1.76. This steep spectral energy distribution defines the CO outflow driving source as a Class I protostar.
