Amplification of squeezed light and multiphoton processes

Abstract

It is shown that a wide class of state of light related to squeezed light has high, (2n-1)!!-fold efficiency in n-photon processes. In contrast to squeezing this high efficiency is not destroyed by a usual linear amplifier even during a very strong amplification.
