The speed of sedimentation of polycyclic hydrocarbons (PAH) on days with and without rainfall, was investigated by analysis of dust PAH contents. The measurements showed that aromatic polycyclic hydrocarbons are mainly adsorbed by particles of respirable size. The calculated suspension time of emitted hydrocarbons is approximately 16 times greater than that of the average dust pollutants.
