Abstract

Broadband and spectrally tuneable ultrashort pulses are efficiently generated by providing the input 50 fs pulses with appropriate chirps having opposite sign. The scheme may be of special interest in ultrashort pulse laser systems using the technique of chirped pulse amplification.
