We investigate some features of the multiplicity distributions observed in nondiffractive pp and pp interactions. Our analysis concentrates mainly on the behaviour of certain momentum combinations that appears to be remarkably smoothly varying in the CM energy range 10-900 GeV. Utilizing this empirical regularity we make predictions for the multiplicity distributions at Tevatron, LHC and SSC energies.
