Abstract

Tetrahydropyrimidine-N-oxides (9) rearranged on heating to the azolines 8. In contrary to the azoles 1 and 3, the corresponding azolines (6 and 8) failed to transform to 3-aminopyrazoles and pyrazolines, respectively.
