A homogeneous braneworld universe

Abstract

A homogeneous, Kantowski-Sachs type, bouncing braneworld universe is presented. The bulk has a positive cosmological constant and the Killing algebra so(1, 3) ⊕ so(3). The totality of the source terms of the effective Einstein equation combines to a solid with different radial and tangential pressures, which obeys the criteria for dark energy.
