A comparison of experiment and simulation of light particle production in silicon by 74 MeV neutrons

Abstract

Experiments and simulations of nuclear reactions induced by 74 MeV neutrons in silicon have been studied. In the experiment protons, deuterons, tritons, 3He and 4He were detected. Reasonable agreement between experiment and simulation was obtained except for protons.
